Here’s what Lauren had to say when we asked her about creating her stack:
What inspired your stack with Allie+Bess?
I love color and love a statement stack during Summer. My go-to summer colors are hot pink, turquoise and white, always with a pop of gold! I love that this stack dresses up or down... I can see it being worn to the beach as well as dressed up for a summer wedding, and that this color scheme goes with just about anything for Summer, from white/black or neutrals to being paired with other bright colors.
What made you want to collaborate with Allie+Bess?
Allie+Bess is my go-to for arm stacks. I have quite a collection of Allie+Bess bracelets from over the years and have so much fun mixing and matching to create all sorts of combos. I love that their pieces are quality, comfortable and always create a style statement... and often are a conversation starter while I am wearing them!
Who is your ultimate style inspo?
A specific person does not come to mind, but I am always drawn to other women who have fun with color and layer their accessories in unusual ways.
Where do you usually get your style inspiration from?
I would say a mix of street style, Instagram (from other influencers I follow), from travel, and occasionally a magazine, when I relax (a rarity!) and flip through the pages!
What’s your favorite way to wear your Allie+Bess pieces?
Stacked and layered—both for necklaces and bracelets! Like I said above, I have so much fun creating bracelet stacks with bracelets I’ve collected over the years, trying new color combinations, and even mixing in other jewelry lines with my Allie+Bess. It’s always a fun way to add a statement to any outfit. I particularly love wearing my Allie+Bess for travel days and pool/beach days—for an unexpected pop of color and texture. I literally cannot wear my Allie+Bess out without getting compliments!
Do you dress them up, down, layer them—tell us your go-to look.
All the ways... dressed up, down, and layered. I usually mix in more gold in a stack when dressing up or for an evening look.
Any styling tips you swear by?
I love mixing colored beads with metallics (gold is my go-to) and always make sure I’m mixing up the textures!
What’s your current favorite jewelry accessory?
Bracelets for summer!! Adorn those wrists with some fun! I am also really loving bright colored beaded necklaces layered for summer. So cute with a swimsuit, too!
What’s your all-time favorite color?
Pink! I love a pop of pink year round, but especially summer. And I love different shades of pink mixed, as demonstrated in my new Summer Stack. I tend to pair pink with whites more in summer and with blacks more during fall/winter.
Our theme this year is “Living in Color.” How do you live in color?
I believe color really brings happiness! It certainly does for me! It also shows confidence and playfulness. In a world where so many gravitate towards “safe” neutrals, adding color to your wardrobe not only makes a statement, but also has the power to cheer up someone’s day... even if it's your own! When I wear color, I do feel more playful, fun, and confident!
Are you more of a color lover or a neutrals + metals girl?
Color! Especially during Spring/Summer. While I always do enjoy pretty neutral and gold pieces, if given the choice, I will usually always gravitate towards COLOR!
Tell us your favorite combo and how it fits into your personal style.
Pinks, whites, and golds with a little pop of turquoise is my go-to... and I love that my Summer Stack includes all these colors!!
Who do you imagine wearing your Allie+Bess collection?
Hopefully all of the above! I hope my friends and followers love this stack and have fun styling it! I cannot wait to see how others wear it!
