Meet Rachel Cross! Rachel is from Bay St. Louis, MS, a little town near New Orleans. She got her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University. She worked for 22 years in the medical field. She is now retired and enjoying time with her husband, Mike, and visiting their daughter, Blaize, who lives in TN. Spice has always been an integral part to Rachel's life. She recalls many fond memories of her mother cooking up good old soul food and adding pepper. They used to joke that they put pepper in her baby bottle to get her ready. She also sees the pepper as a reminder to add a little spice into your life. Shake things up a little! To her, pepper (spice) is life. This is a reminder to wake up your soul, don't get bogged down with the monotony. Spice it up!

Each Allie + Bess bracelet is made to a standard 7-inch length. Our bracelet size A is 6.75 inches and our bracelet size B is 7.5 inches.
The Black Bead
In their first bracelets, A+B included 5 black vinyl beads as a symbol of their 5 kids. Today, it's evolved into a black element or bead in every piece. Not only does it make their jewelry easy to spot, but also serves as a constant reminder of their biggest why.
