FIRST: Check Your Product Details

Before wearing your new piece, check the product description for its care instructions.

If your piece is labeled “water resistant,” it can handle hand washing and everyday wear. Please take it off before showering or swimming.

If your piece is not labeled “water resistant,” please follow the care instructions below.

For Jewelry Not Labeled Water Resistant

Keep away from water. Remove your jewelry before showering, bathing, swimming, or exercising.
Avoid chemicals and products. Water, body oils, perspiration, cosmetics, lotions, perfumes, hairspray, and cleaning products can cause discoloration, tarnishing, or dull the finish over time.
Put jewelry on last. Apply makeup, lotion, perfume, and hairspray before putting on your jewelry.
Remove before bed. Sleeping in your jewelry can cause unnecessary friction, pulling, and wear.
Gently clean after wearing. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe your jewelry after each wear to remove oils and buildup.
Store properly. When you’re not wearing your jewelry, keep each piece in an airtight plastic bag or jewelry pouch. This helps protect it from moisture, tarnishing, and scratching.
Give your jewelry a break. Even with proper care, plated metals naturally change over time with regular wear and exposure to the elements.
